Hi EC,
Well done on The SG award, although you should wait for written confirmation really !!
Any arrears of The SG Component Addition Payment should be paid as back pay from the start of week 14 of your ESA claim.
SG Component = £36.20/Week
From :
Benefit Rates 2015/16
So you should start receiving £109.30/Week, and all the weeks owed at £36.20 will probably be paid into your Bank as a separate lump sum.
If you have not yet reached the start of week 14 of your claim, the extra SG Component should start being paid from then automatically.
Remember, ESA is paid fortnightly in arrears !!
Please let us know when you receive The SG Decision Notice letter.

ExCollier wrote: I have received a ESA3 10/14 form in the post. There was nothing else with it,I did not request this form and there hasn't been any change in my circumstances do I need to fill it in,my head is telling me to ignore it.
Hi EC,
It may well be in your best interests to fill it in and return it, as an ESA 3 Form is used to capture your financial and personal details to see whether you are entitled to any Income Related (IR) ESA, IR ESA top-ups, or : Income Related (IR) ESA Premiums.
It has nothing at all to do with which "Group" you are in !!!
Being entitled to payment of any amount of IR ESA, even a penny, passports you to other "benefits" such as free prescriptions, dental care, maximum HB entitlement, Council Tax Support, SMI and : The Warm Home Discount Scheme
Besides, not filling in these forms when requested to can cause problems, and you have nothing to lose and all to gain by doing so !!
