Spoke to a Mental Health Worker today who informed me of the MASSIVELY HIGH %
of PIPS decisions OVERTURNED at APPEAL

Did not want to put the figure down but MUCH HIGHER than the 64% of ESA appeals.
I know Gordon said there are no figures for Pips yet and not sure if this is just our area, but should give comfort to those unsure whether to appeal that the process is working for PIP claimants going to appeal.

Pity the DWP do not assess our claims properly rather than going through the process of such a long fight. I am just recovering from a short mental breakdown of 10 days when I found out I would be loosing £7000 a year because my pips was turned down.

Just wanted to give some people hope who are thinking about appealing that the success rate of appeals is likely to be VERY VERY HIGH !

Cipolar

The latest Tribunal statistics are in the following News item.

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/3518-pip-...ts-new-all-time-high

We only have national statistics, not regional ones.

The statistics do not distinguish between the two.

My article related to people who had gone to pips appeals to argue their case and a very high % of people have had the DWP decision overturned in the favour of the claimant.

This is good news, so please do not worry.
