Morning I called PIP helpline this morning re my mandatory decision. The lady said a letter headed progress had been sent however she could open it to tell me any more. Anyone else had this or do any of the administrators have any idea what this is. Knowing how long a letter takes to get to the recipient from dwp I am going to be anxious until it arrives . This has been an unbelievable nightmare of a journey
Thanks

Hi
Received my mandatory reconsideration reply today, I have gone from 0 to 6 points in the daily living section, they have not taken into account that I use a raised toilet seat. I scored 4 on the mobility section even though In the ESA assessment I was put in the support group due to my inability to walk the distance which in the PIP assessment gives ypu 8 points. I know that the benefits do not run in tandem but surely if one assessor sees I can only walk a certain distance common sense would tell them that's how far I can walk! The distances are the same whatever the benefit. Any how I'm going to tribunal . This government is a disgrace and it's time we the people stand up to them. PIP is flawed in so many ways.

Hi Lorraine,
Did you send a copy of the ESA report/decision to DWP with your PIP claim? It is unlikely that the PIP assessor or decision maker would have any knowledge of your ESA claim unless you draw it to their attention.

I would expect the tribunal panel to be more interested in hearing from you about the limitations caused by your problems.
