JSA no longer allowing 12wk fit note while waiting

I do need to continue with JSA claim to be able to manage financially unfortunately but at my signing on yesterday I stood my ground on my health limitations. They were doing everything in their power to convince me I am in fact able to do courses to update computer skills and attend careers advice meetings. I simply stated that I didn't think they fully understand how my condition affects me and proceeded to enlighten them for which they did not argue! Ive found my fight again but so many people who are dragged down by this process are not able to be assertive with JSA coaches and are dragged down even further.

Just a quick question, having read through a lot of recent topics on ESA and pip it seems that now much more MR's are being overturned. This could be just me but I wonder if they are starting to realise they're costing themselves a lot more money when people go to tribunal. I wonder if the dm's are now being advised to overturn more of the mr's because so many people now do appeal and quite a high percentage of claimants win. I know trying to guess what they're actually doing is somewhat fruitless but it just seemed to me there were so many more posts coming in where MR's were being overturned. What are your thoughts on this?

I have received a letter today informing me of a notification of local service compliance telephone interview. It says this telephone interview has been arranged because my circumstances may have changed and to make sure my payments are correct. I have been looking into this and am very worried as I don't know what this is for. I was found fit for work on 21st December after a failed wca and have claimed jobseekers from the very next day. I am posting my MR this week coming. I was just starting to get my head on straight again and now this. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Feeling very low again now.

Thank you for your advice Gordon. I rang them and it turns out they're joint systems have flagged up 2 bank accounts that they think may be still open in my name with around £14,000 capital in them. I had to laugh when he said it and he chuckled too. He gave me the account numbers so I could begin investigation before he rings on 25th. One account was closed 2 years ago and one was closed 12 years ago. All I need to do is show proof of this and it's fine. I really got myself in a state over this letter and going online reading horror stories just made me worse. I would recommend to anyone in this situation to ring them and find out what's the problem. Unfortunately I received the letter on a Saturday so couldn't contact them. My god the DWP are like an emotional rollercoaster. Sending off my MR tomorrow too so fingers crossed with that.
