Hi
just a short question do the dwp pay full amount of taxi costs to and from an assessment , why I ask is what happens if the cost in total is about £25, taxi rates are high, do they expect you to use public transport even if you cannot walk from the bus stop because the distance is too great.

The DWP don't pay anything :)

The Assessment Provider may pay for a taxi but only by prior arrangement and you will likely need your GP to provide a letter as to why you cannot use Public Transport.
