getting advice on returning to work was created by shell
I receive support group only esa and higher rate dla I would love to return to work in some form or other but are to scared to ask the dwp for advice on this as don't trust them and would not be shocked if a new esa assessment form arrived in the post before I got back from the job centre what is the best way forward any advice and help would be great its a shame that people like myself who would like to try are to scared to ask because of the mistrust of the dwp I would guess that this stops a lot ot people coming forward

You can dip your toe in the water by doing Permitted Work, there's a guide in the ESA section that explains what this means. If you have more questions, then reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

Starting PW should not initiate a reassessment of your claim proving the work that you are doing is not clearly at odds with the reasons that you receive ESA, but it will be considered when you are reassessed and could have a negative impact.
