PIP Appeal was created by Carriebeth
Just been to my PIP appeal. Having been on top rate mobility for 15 years it was denied when I was assessed for PIP. At my assessment I was deemed to have walked 50 metres from the car park. My appeal was based on the fact there is no car park, and the distance I walked was barely 10 metres. I could show this using pictures from Google Earth, so I would suggest others do this, to show the distance walked. I would also like to thank B&W for the help in the appeal. I'm not sure I would have had the confidence to appeal without your help. I have now gone from 4 points to 12 points meaning I now get the enhanced rate for mobility.

Congratulations on getting the Decision revised.
It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, I would give it a few days and then contact the DWP to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.

Thank you Carriebeth for sharing your good news and congratulations!! My husband is still waiting to received the appeal pack and a date. Like you it was said he walked from the car park when we said he we parked on the side road to the building and it was said he walked 25 meters to the office when there was less than 15.
I am particularly interested on the photographic evidence. Could you share how to do this and did you send images to the tribunal and DWP or did you take them with you to the appeal?
Many thanks and many congratulations again. Good to hear good stories!!

If you go to Google Earth and put in the address you want it will show you the building you want from above. The scale is shown to the bottom right of the picture. I sent the pictures before I went to the appeal, but am convinced that I won the appeal, because of the photo
