Hi Gordon, I thought I would give an update regarding my brother's PIP. After putting in a MR he was awarded 8 points for care, so then as a family we decided to appeal. Just last week he was awarded higher care and lower mobility for the rest of his life. We are amazed and very happy for him. They said that his needs would not change due to his autism and this claim is to be back dated to December 2016. So thank you for the encouragement and sound advice, enabling us to keep fighting for his rights. It has been hard and frankly the urge to give up unbelievably strong. But it is done. Thank you.
