Can anyone advise. I completed my ESA50 and sent it off in March - they confirmed receipt on the 17th. I have rang several times as I haven't received any communication what so ever. Apparently it is 'before a panel' so I could be called for another medical. I followed the ESA guidelines given by 'Benefits and Work' and was happy with what I said but I am struggling with waiting for that brown envelope. Surely nearly 6 months is a long time to wait for an outcome. Is this a problem anyone else has experienced? Any advice welcomed.

There are still considerable delays in the ESA assessment process and I am afraid a six month wait is not unusual. Try contacting Maximus for an update on waiting times for your area.
