Hi Oscar, i do understand, in fact I did a paper appeal last year due to similar. They put me back on the rate i was on previously, before there was a mess up and DWP withdrew it, made mistakes etc. I hope you get a good result as well.

Hi Oscar good luck with the appear. We are waiting for an appeal date for PIP - can I ask how long you have been waiting for a date?

Hi, Like you I had to go to court to appeal 0 points for care, despite high rate DLA previous.
Let me help to reassure you, that despite what the DWP decision Makers or Assessor chose to "overlook" or "ignore" it is politics.
I had a panel of 3 - a judge, gp and independant care and although I had all my paperwork with me, I did not refer to it one. They just asked me questions and I answer them honestly. It was awful, stressful and I wish no-one had to do what I had to do. But I won.
One thing that I realised was not made obvious one my form, because I mistakenly assumed that it would have been unneccessary - a simple answer is sometimes I am unable to do thing because I just don't feel well enough.
Repeat the mantra for every answer 'I am unable to undertake this activity reliably, safely, repeated and in a timely manner" because... Then give a clear reason.
And may I wish you good luck and success.

If they are our rights, why do we have to fight for them?

My original award was given to me in December 2016 and I appealed in January 2017 - and thats how long this has been going on - hence the nightmare - I have now asked for a paper based hearing so is done now, I cannot face another load of questions and prying and ne feeling totally naff again, the anxiety alone I just cannot cope with with - I just hope i have done enough now to get over what I need to - its in their hands - again and I have the worry of waiting..
