PIP assessor didn’t turn up to home visit! was created by Eggcustard
Hi,
I was due my assessment today at 10.30 and no one turned up, apparently the assessor was ill and no one told us. My partner has lost a days wages and I’ve been in a state about the assessment all weekend.
I have put in a complaint, will we receive compensation for the wages lost? I doubt it but if people are late or don’t turn up they sanction them and stop their payments!
Disgusting

Specifically no, but you should still notify the Assessment provider about the lost wages but it will be down to them to decide if any compensation is due and how much.
