Hello Michelle,
ESA is an ongoing award with regular reassessment usually between three months and three years. However there appears to be yet another backlog and there are members who have not been reassessed within three years or their awards have been extended. The only way to find out what has happened is to ring the office that deals with your claim and ask them when you are likely to be reassessed

Hiya, I'm in the same boat too, I've been in the SG now since April 2014 and still No sign I did phone the claim line and was told 2019 But then the chap said 2017 That's what I was told in mid December 2017 again still none the wiser I'm hoping it's 2019 but I will ride it out.
All I know some did get an added 2 years like Gordon has mentioned regarding backlogs in his above post etc. So if you want to be sure call them and it should give you some idea when it won't cause you issues by phoning them.
I was formely known as (GoingOffMyHeadWithThisGovernment) Won PIP November 2017 ongoing award HR both. Now kept and got my ESA Support group but took a while.
