I've been moved from the ESA Support to WRAG group and have asked for MR. I called them earlier this week to ask for the evidence and also sent written confirmation. The papers came today, and I cannot make head or tail of them! The assessor was a physiotherapist (for a claimant with clinical depression!) and most of the assessment seemed to be on physical functions. Some of this I had highlighted in my original form as the depression has some impact, but the main part was concerned with mental debility. The areas where I should have scored maximum points were ignored and only the ones where scoring does not qualify for the Support group received points! Is there any point in sending further evidence to back up the MR, or should I wait until I can appeal?
There is absolutely no value in holding evidence back for an appeal, this about getting the correct award as quickly as possible, there is no taint to your evidence if the MR does not revise the Decision, an appeal looks at everything from scratch with an unbiased eye.
