Hi guys hope some one can put my mind at rest, been on esa 4 months now diagnosed with spinal stenosis and had face to face assessment at centre that I think went ok.
Application for PIP one month ago and now a letter saying capita is coming to my home for assessment !! Is this normal as I did not put for a home visit , my mobility is limited and during the ESA face to face I did get very upset as I suffer with anxiety and depression due to my condition changing my way of life now and limiting daily activities.
Thanks in advance Elgrand

PIP and ESA and assessed by different companies, home assessment are more likely with PIP than ESA, it's simply a recognition that you would have problems attending at their offices.

The PIP Claim guide has a section that covers the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.

I would not expect it to old back the Decision, even the DWP departments are separate.
