Can anyone please give me some advice regarding my upcoming pip interview assessment. I was on dla and if I pass the interview will change to this. My questions will be all on my mental health. Can anyone tell me how I should be in the interview. Do I answer the questions in a normal way or should I be appearing a certain way. I am so afraid I will loose my entitlement all together it terrifies me. To get higher rate pip I am not sure what way I need to come across in the interview, i know how my mental health effects me but i struggle sometimes getting my words out and knowing what to say. Has anyone been awarded here with higher rate care on mental health grounds and can give me some solid advice at this interview. Thank you for taking the time to read.
We cannot tell you how to behave at your assessment, other than you need to be honest about the problems you have. If you are worried that you may not remember aspects that you want to get across perhaps a family member or friend could accompany you to support you. They wont be able to answer on your behalf but they could remind you of anything you might forget.
