I am 65 and retired on ill health grounds after 47 years in employment.
I am in receipt of both elements of PIP, receive a pension, but no other benefits.
My wife (my carer) is retiring from her part time job next year and we want to go to Australia for 4/6 weeks to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and visit family.
Is this going to be a problem, or can I be allowed to be out of the country for this long?
If not, is there a legitimate reason for this restriction?
