Hello bit confused here been on esa (in support group) since 2013 I also get dla lower motor neurone symptoms and foot drop in both feet was meant to be assessed in April last year I phoned back and they said July 2017 July went I phoned back and they said October 2017 it seems every 3 months they change there mind is this normal practice by the dwp were in feb 2018 and still not heard anything just wondered if you could give a reason for there behaviour Thank you peter.

It's not that usual for the DWP to defer assessments, I can't explain why they might be doing it to you but it's not anything to worry about, your current award will continue in payment until a new Decision is made on your claim.
