PIP, PIP Dismay!

After frantically getting my PIP application in and having my assessment unfortunately I have been refused. I've been in a whirlwind with it since 21st December when I applied. Had my assessment on 12th February and the decision letter is dated 19th February so I'm at least glad that the process didn't take too long. I saw a new GP at my surgery and asked for her help before I returned my form and although she printed out some scan results for me she was unsympathetic saying the DWP usually contacted GP's for further information which I understand but one of the things I wanted was a copy of a letter written by my former GP when I claimed ESA and was placed into the support group from the wrag group under regulation 35 as I was hoping I could have used what he wrote as evidence, however this GP said she couldn't get into the system and would get back to me on it but she never did and I'm not sure if evidence from one benefit can be used as evidence for another, does anyone know if it can or not?
I am considering asking for a mandatory reconsideration but my report hasn't arrived yet and I am very concerned that it will be untrue again! what chance do people stand of getting what they are entitled to when decisions are made on based on lies in the reports?! congrats to everyone who is successful though!

Hello, thank you Gordon but as I've been there before (this is my second claim) I'm giving up due to the stress of it all, I'm 64 soon so will be unable to claim anyway.
It's a very , very difficult benefit to claim and some of the stoies from claimants are heartbreaking
