Taking a representative to the appeal was created by linda65
Hi again, I am almost ready to send in my appeal documents for the Tribunal but I am unsure on the part of taking a representative. I do not have a professional representative as such but my carer of 13 years would like to do it. She has been through this whole saga with me and was witness at my assessment to confirm everything I have said in my forms and that I did not undergo a medical examination. She is professionally trained as a senior carer.
Do I put her down as my representative or just take her along as a my carer and witness ??
Thanks in advance for any advice. Linda

Unless this person can fulfil the responsibilities of a Representative (my capitalisation), understanding your claim, the relevant law and Case Law that might amend it, then they should attend as a friend and/or witness.
