Claimants are being chosen at random to be invited t claim PIP so it could be some time before the DWP contact you.
Our PIP Claim guide explains the criteria that you will need to meet and how the assessment works. See

When the time come and it may not be this year despite the letter, then try doing an internet search for "welfare advice" with our postcode, town or county, you could also try contacting any charities that specialise in your benefits.
