Hiya,
Thank you so much....
The assessment team have said I would not be cancelling it would be them rearranging till the decision of my home visit has been made and this isn’t me cancelling they have said.
My doctor on the letter sent this time wrote in first letter all about my conditions and then put this statement: Marie-Anne would have difficulty travelling to attend an assessment, so if one is required, I feel a home visit would be appreciated.
And then the second letter:
This lady has been requested to attend an assessment in Croydon next week regarding her ESA.
She has a history of myoclonic dystonia, emotionally unstable/ avoidant personality disorder and agoraphobia. Because of her agoraphobia, she feels unable to travel and so I would support her request for a home visit.
As you said feels but the doctor also stated they would support this. I can get another letter and get them to clearly state cannot! If so be...

If they move you to a home assessment then they would be correct that this would be their decision and not you cancelling but that is not what you asked, you asked about cancelling the current appointment at their offices. This would be your cancelling the appointment and as it would be the second time that this had happened, your file would be returned to the DWP.
I'm afraid, neither of these GP letters says you cannot attend, they merely suggest it.

I have an appoinment wednesday I don’t want to cancel it, I won’t be asking to cancel they said call Monday and if the home visit team still haven’t dealt with an outcome then they would make another date for me till the outcome of the home visit has been made. I’m confused here I’m not cancelling they said Monday they would rearrange. I will get another doctor letter making sure this is stated I cannot travel or attend unless it’s a home visit hopefully tomorrow and get that over for them also to look at again then. I literally don’t understand why this wouldn’t be enough I have agrophobia and the doctor has said they also agree to a Home visit.

Just remember that the current appointment at their offices remains in place until it is removed.
