feel like slashing my wrists was created by blackpatch
I completed my pip forms about 5 weeks ago after about 5 redrafts. I found the whole process intimidating and frustrating as I had been on a lifetime award of DLA. HIgh Care / Low Mobility.
I suffered from a braim injury in 2001 which made my Anxiety and depression and OCD all the worse. Recemtly thoughts have been flashing through my head to slash my wrists as the pressure has been really getting to me. I made an emergency appointment at the doctors and he increased my prozac from 20 to 60 mg per day . I feel a bit better as ive been on the higher dose for 2 weeks now. Capita have informed me they are not going to do a face to face assessment with me, but have instead written to my doctor seeking more information. I had included a letter from headway the brain injury trust , my councillor and my Doctor, along with the original pip pack.
Just waiting for capita to make their decision now but am still worried they will call me in for a face to face.

If Capita have opted for a Paper Based Review then it's unlikely that will revert back to a face t face unless your GP doesn't actually answer their request for information, so it may be worth your chasing you doctor to make sure this does not happen.

It sounds unlikely that they will call you for assessment, especially as it sounds like you have a supportive GP and I hope you get the benefit you deserve.
Whilst it can be a very difficult process, please do not harm yourself. Trust that your medication will help.
I wish you good luck and better health very soon.
