Hi, If one is recording a PIP assessment at one's home, is it essential to have two identical cassette recorders or can one have two similar ones (or even non similar) as long as not digital please. Don't want to risk that recording is not allowed on the day. Any recommendations please for reliable cassette recorders which play back clearly and audibly, as so many don't it seems with motor noise etc? Thanks

They don't have to be the same but if you are starting from scratch then I would keep them the same.
I'm afraid I can't make a recommendation, hopefully members who have recorded their assessment can.
