PIP. Change of circumstanes. was created by Ruby Cheshire
In short, I was originally on DLA high rate for both, indefinitely. Then all changed when I was assessed in early 2016 for PIP. I lost my mobility rate altogether and was awarded standard care. I appealed and last June I was given mobility at standard rate. To be honest when they said that I could appeal again (but could lose everything) I was so tired that I didn't appeal the appeal result. Since then I have continually got worse, I have arthritis, Fibromalagia, Anxiety and memory problems plus other conditions. I have been advised to apply under a change of circumstance but am really afraid of losing the little that I have. Would anyone have any advice on how or if I should go about this please. Any help at all would be appreciated as they would not overturn all the lies the assessor came out with and I found it so difficult at the appeal I was hardly thinking straight as the anxiety brings on a lot of confusion and total memory blanks.

You can report a change by writing to the DWP office dealing with your PIP claim, telling them that your conditions have worsened.
Doing so will result in a full reassessment of your claim, new PIP2 and almost certainly a face to face assessment. The new Decision will supersede your existing award.
However. before you do this I would strongly recommend that you review our current PIP Claim guides to make sure that you can meet the criteria for a higher award, if you cannot reasonably do this then you should seriously consider whether to notify the DWP.
