My 22 yo son formerly had a lifetime award for DLA due to his diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome but has just been refused PIP with a zero points award. The claim was thorough having used the guides and this has actually been used against him as evidence of him being tuned in, able to understand complex information and erudite! (I actually completely the claim form on his behalf and also attended the F2F with him.) Obviously now requesting MR but I would be interested to hear from anyone who has made a claim for PIP for Asperger's , it being denied and then either being awarded at MR or Tribunal. What worked for you?
