Sorry, I meant to add that I legally recorded the assessment so any lies and discrepancies can be picked out easily, except for the 'cunning' way she described how I walked to and from the room. It's my word and my carer's word against hers on that unfortunately.

Surely, if an assessment is recorded in the legal way,
which it was, if a claimant can correctly explain that the report is inacurate, the recording really has to be listened to if need be to verify.
I'd have thought this should be mandatory, otherwise what is the point of providing an extra recording for the DWP in the first place?

dont give up......I went from nil points to 11 for DL and 8 for mobility at an MR from nil......I think I could have raised it to 12 for Dl at an appeal....but I just couldnt stand the stress

I don't disagree with you but the reality is that a Decision Maker will not review the recording.

I don't disagree with you but the reality is that a Decision Maker will not review the recording.

Hi, thanks for your replies. I won't give up, believe me. I just hope that it gets sorted. Once it is sorted one way or another, I am reporting the assessor to Atos, I've got the form ready and waiting, and also reporting her to the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
