Latest update. I've still not heard from the DWP since July the 5th saying they have all the necessary info to make a decision but that was 6 weeks ago.
Was just wondering if all the extra evidence I sent in plus my account of what actually happened at my assessment could be holding things up?
My ESA went in my bank today with the enhancement so could that possibly mean that the DM has seen common sense and sided up with me?
A long shot I know but all sorts of things are going through my mind.

We are seeing the Summer slow down, it's not impossible that your sending extra evidence has also caused a delay, the DWP have no in-house medical support so it may have required referral back to the assessor.

Thanks, Gordon. Only thing is if they refer back to atos, surely this will be a negative for me.
I have put in a formal complaint to ATOS by phone and the call handler was so concerned that she passed me on to a psychological nurse who had to calm me down. She even phoned my GP who phoned me after surgery to pledge his support.
I hope this is on record as I might stand a chance, do you think?

The simplest solution is for you or someone on your behalf to contact the DWP for an update.

Thanks once again, Gordon. I did phone last Tuesday and was told still with DM but I'll contact them again next week if nothing in the post by the end of this week.
Fingers crossed.

Well, I rang the DWP today about my PIP decision. I was told that it was STILL with the DM. I've rung them sbout 6 times now and it's over a month since I was first told this.
Is it just an excuse or is there really such a backlog?
My feeling is that after almost seven weeks they are not telling me the correct story and they are told to fob you off in this way so as not to become too involved.
Any thoughts, anyone?
