Any info on the average length of time claimants are expected to wait for an appeal hearing ? I received all the paperwork and a letter to say I would be contacted again with a date ....that was several months ago...is this normal ?

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Wait times are nine months across most of the country and longer in some areas, contact the Tribunal Service for current times for your venue.

Hi Lesley To give you an example timewise. I applied for my appeal, sending the form in on 28/12/2017. I attended my actual appeal (I won, btw!!!) on 28/11/2018.
Waiting time reflects amount of people appealing. Strength in numbers!
I hope this gives you some idea Lesley...☺
