DLA to pip was created by Misty8
The last few months I’m going though DLA to Pip
I was awarded pip at standard rate in both care and mobility
I was on life long DLA standard low rate care but got the full rate mobility
I went to appeal and lost staying on standard for both the reason they gave me I didn’t get the highest rate was was that I don’t specialist input which is true for my osteoarthritis just my doctor and xrays proof
I’ve put in for tribunal surely my X-rays and my doctor are proof ?
Can I ask my doc to send me to a specialist now will what he says be taken into consideration when I go to tribunal or is it to late to to get a specialist involved? Is there anyway out of this mess?
Thank you...

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Worrly
When you say you "went appeal and lost", do you mean that you requested a Mandatory Reconsideration and the original Decision was not revised?
If you have now requested an appeal then you can submit more evidence and this can include new input from your specialist but they must make it clear that there findings apply also to how you were at the time of the Decision or you risk the information being excluded.

Yes that’s right it wasn’t changed - I lost the mobility by just 2 points and the care by 1 point
