PIP assessment was created by Adam
I had my pip assessment at home on 17th Dedember 18 , didn’t really like the assessor. She told me the report would be typed up and sent across within a few days.
I’ve spoken to DWP & Capita a few times, the one prior to this call to Capita said ‘it’s waiting to go over. I rang the DWP last Friday 4th Jan 19 they still hadn’t received it. Was told they would contact Capita in a week or so to see where it is. I called Capita today and was told ‘it’s in our back office waiting to be sent. She said there computers have been down for six days and it should be sent in the next one to two weeks.’ She was really quite abrupt with me. Is this delay normal? The stress of waiting in fact the whole procrsss has been quite unbearable mentally but most of all physically. My DLA car lease finishes in March and I’m just anxious that the delays will cause a further delay with decision makers letter and outcome. Any advice e would be greatly appreciated. I know we’ve had Christmas and New Year but I thought they were usually done within 3-5 days?

It is usually with the DWP within a couple of working days but there is little that they can do if their computers have been down.
