ESA review was created by Patsy19
I recently had a f2f review assessment for ESA and have obtained a copy of the medical report esa85. It does not look like the previous examples I have seen. It does not have any tick boxes for recommended review timescales. I am currently in the support group. The assessor has advised I meet the criteria for LCW and LCWRA and evidence suggests review in the medium term. Do you know what this timescale means in months or years and have you heard of this new style report? Thanks

In the medium term means 18 months or more likely 24.

Thanks Gordon. Have you heard of the esa85 not having the tick boxes for eg. 12 months, 18 months. As I said previously mine didn't have these on and suggests review in medium term, does this mean the decision maker will decide the review date now?

It's actually not that unusual to see "medium" and "longer" term in the report.

Thanks Gordon, but the example esa85 in the wca handbook shows tickboxes for 18 months etc, and mine does not. Will the decision maker decide the review date now?

All I can say is that we have always seen these terms used.
The Decision Maker always decides when the next assessment will be scheduled for.
