Hi Gorden happy new year. thanks for previous help Could I remind you that I got the same award as DLA middle 9 points and enhanced for mobility, but PIP only gave me 18 months when I was indefinite before, when I queried this they said it was through my arthritis and my pain could get better. This Gorden I have had since 2010 and I told them when does arthritis ever get better. However if i got further evidence that my arthritis will not get better, and sent it in as further evidence, would they look at the original claim and give me a decision via the paperwork they have already. I have had the award 6 months and I am already getting frightened about the medical to come, what would be the chances of getting this 10 year award, many thanks

I think a ten-year award is unlikely, not impossible but I think four or five years is the best you might expect but are you prepared to request an MR and if necessary go onto to appeal?
