I have won my pip tribunal so now get my daily living back from July 2017 but we are unsure if my son needs to apply for Carers Allowance or not. He is on universal credit, so will they pay him the Carers element or does he apply for Carers Allowance and also from what date can he apply ? Thank you
Your son needs to check with his JC+ advisor as to what they will accept, be aware that your PIP award will not show on their systems for several weeks.
