PIP Assessment delays? was created by Alan
Hi,
I applied for PIP in May 2018 and had my assessment on 30th October 2018.
On the 31st October 2018 i received a text telling me that they had received the report from the assessor and i would hear from them within 6 weeks.
As i had not heard from them i rang them 3 weeks ago to be told there is a delay and ring them back in two weeks.
I rang them again yesterday and was given the same response.
Does anybody have any idea how long it takes for them to process claims?
It is now over 8 months since i applied.

Thank-you.
Alan

There are delays in the PIP Decision process but they really should have made a Decision by now, I would consider getting your MP involved.
