Thank you Gordon,
In the application it was made clear that I can’t use the perching stool. I have issues with s1, l4 and l5 discs. When I’ve tried it aggravates my back because you still have to lean over. I have cut myself on a knife slicing bread as I didn’t have a string enough grip.
The truth is Gordon I’m weary and havnt got the energy to fight. I’ve been awarded pips for both parts for 3 years. What bothers me is I have deteriorated and have consistently wrote about my problems. I’m worried if I don’t appeal am I agreeing with the assessor report? I have fibromyalgia, arthritis, a bakers cyst, a hernia, depression for many many years in the last 3 years anxiety is of the scale. Since September 2018 I don’t go out any more, shopping is done online, If I do go out I can’t control my emotions that well and have become paranoid.
It’s hard to know what to do for the best.
Thanks again

It's not really a question of agreeing with the report or not. When you are reassessed you will be able to re-state your problems from scratch and the assessment, if you have one, will look at your problems at that time.

You do not have to make a decision now about asking for an MR, you can make a Late Request at any time up to 13 months after the date of the Decision.

Hi Gordon,
I wasn’t aware you had up to 13 months I thought you only had a month.
What I mean by agreeing is that the assessor report contradicts what I wrote in the application process. By not asking for a mandatory assessment will it seem i was lying in my application?
I also thought esa beenfit applications can be cross referenced by dwp with dwp pips applicationsfr consistency and decisions?
The truth is my dad has got dementia and I can’t rely on him to know which way is up and speak for me when I need him to. I don’t have any other support than hi
Thanks

Yes, you can make a Late request for an MR but you will need to provide an explanation of why your request is late and the DWP may not accept it.

I do understand what you are saying about your agreeing with the assessor but each assessment looks at your conditions and limitations at that time so it won't be an issue.

I can count on one hand the time that we have seen one benefit affected by the other. You have an award of PIP, they are not going to look at your ESA.

As I posted separately Gordon the pip result had made an impact on my esa award.

If you had said that your ESA was also being reassessed I might have answered differently but I still doubt that your PIP Decision had any impact on the ESA one, if you haven't yet requested the ESA report, ask for a copy of all the documents used in the making of the Decision, if the PIP report is not included then you PIP Decision had no influence.
