PIP Review

Sent my review form of at the end of October 18 about 4 months ago and have heard nothing from them no letter or text my award does not finish till December 19 is it normal to take this time or will decision be made nearer December 19?. I live in Glasgow area don't know if that makes a difference to the time taken.

Sorry did not realise that Gordon . I am also on pension credit guaranteed and claimed for my then girlfriend noted they are changing the rules in may about younger partners she is 56 we got married in December do I have to tell the dwp about it?. my concern is if I don't will us getting married be taken as a new claim if so I had better do it before may .

Hi Gordon I have just had my f2f renewal the assessor hinted she thought it was unnecessary that I should have had to have f2f assessment done she was very pleasant women. this is my first review as was awarded my first pip just before my 65 birthday and was awarded higher care standard mobility as I ticked the wrong part I ticked 20-50 walking because I thought I could walk 20 but should have ticked up to 20 anyway was glad to get what we did and did not want to risk MR incase we lost it and would not be able to claim again because I would be over 65. The assessor wondered why previous assessor even though she had mentioned that I was breathless at rest { I have copd emphysema} had not put me as enhanced mobility and ask me why I had not challenged the award I told her I was happy to get something and was afraid of losing what I had. She hinted I should be on high rat mobility which suggest she will put me forward for enhanced mobility. My question is I thought after the age of 65 you could not be moved from standard to enhanced ? or has it changed now. thanks Gordon
