Capability for Work questionaire (ESA50 05/18) was created by taf,one
Received today, the above for my 22 year old son. Happy Valentine.
I last completed one of these in Feb 2016. before that in 2013.
My sons circumstances are unchanged, has the form changed in that time and can I copy the previous form answers verbatim?
His circumstances are unlikely to change, is this normal every 3 years?

The form has not changed except cosmetically but there have been updates to the DWP guidance, so whilst you can copy the text from the previous form I would strongly recommend that you review our ESA Claim guides to make sure that it is still applicable.

I will do that.
Steven, my son, as indefinite lower and middle rate DLA.
Is it possible to get ESA indefinitely, or do we have to go through this nonsense every 3 years?

It is possible to be excused from further assessment but the criteria are very strict and we have seen no more than a handful of members receive this.
