2nd assessment for PIP was created by Seasider
After been on an indefinite award for DLA I recurved 0 points for PIP. I have bipolar and anxiety along with some physical issues. Arthritis and spondylitis.
I complained to both Atos and DWP about my assessment and now I am getting a second assessment in my home.
The mandatory reconsideration resulted in 0 points also.
Any advice would be gratefully recieved

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

HAve the DWP asked for a new assessment to be done or is this ATOS doing it off their own back?
As a Decision has been made the DWP may not revise it even if the new report is favourable.
You have two options going forward;
- You can make a new claim for PIP, there is no waiting time.
- You can request an appeal
In either case, you need to understand and deal with the issues that resulted in your not scoring this time.

Atos informed me that DWP have requested a new assessment. This is due to inconsistencies and conflicting information. The whole process is effecting my mental health I am literally at my wits end.
