Moving House ESA/PIP was created by MattS91
Currently receiving Enhanced Living/Standard Mobility for PIP and in the Support Group for ESA.
My parents are in the process of looking to move property, I am wondering if this can affect my benefits? Obviously I would notify the DWP of the change. I only passed my ESA medical in late January and have been awarded upto 2 years. My PIP isn't due for renewal until 2022

I assume you live with your parents, I can't see any reason why it would have any effect on your ESA or PIP.

Yes the property is owned by them and they want to move. I have notified the ESA/PIP department before of a name change via the telephone and had no problems. But I think address might be a "big" change so to speak

Actually, the name change would have been a bigger change.

Well the name change didn't trigger anything ESA/PIP related. Would you suggest ringing and writing a letter to notify them just to cover both options?

Yes, this is one of the things that need to be confirmed in writing but also needs the immediacy of a phone call.
