hi,
i had my one 2 one a few weeks ago, and i got the medical report back today. despite having suffered a stroke, having chronic arthritus, and severe memmory problems and anxiety . I did not score a single point, reading the report it was like they were talking about a different one2one.
the report stated i had no anxiety issues. that i showed no memmorey problems despite two pan fires cooking, due to forgeting the pans were turned on and that i could perform all tasks with no aids even though i stated i use light weight pans, easy grip cutlery, bath bars and toilet bars, easy on sock helper, long shoe horns the list goes on. it even stated i drank a cup of water during the interview from a plastic cup when i cannot even grip a mug with handles. i can walk over 200m when i struggle to walk 30m with crutches.
my question is i have not recieved the actual outcome as yet but its pretty obvious from the medical report. so if i cancel my claim and start a new one can i have a new one 2 one and hopfully get an honest report.??.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
I assume this is for PIP.
I would not cancel your claim, whilst it does not often happen, it is possible for the Decision Maker to make a different Decision from the one recommended by the assessor.
If no award is made then you can make a new claim for PIP immediately, there is no waiting period, however, I would urge you to review the testimony and evidence that you have submitted as part of your claim. Whilst it is not unusual for the assessment report and the claimant's information to be at odds with each other I also see members on the forum who have misunderstood the criteria that they have been assessed against or have not presented their limitations in a way that address that criteria.
