Had my face to face assessment and was asked if I waould agree to the interview being recorded, which I declined. When I arrived I was asked if I would mind a second person in the room when the interview was conducted, which I agreed, thinking the interviewer was training. When entering, there was a second person in the room with the interviewer sitting at the back of the room with a lap top. Cutting a long story short I asked the interviewer if she was training and she said no she was fully qualified. My husband then proceeded to ask who the other person was and was told the lady’s name and that she was a supervisor. Is it normal practice to have two people participate in interviews now?

No, it's not usual to have two people in the assessment.
