PIP claim form sent in, heard nothing since.

Hello there,

My DLA is up for review in May, and so unfortunately I've had to claim PIP. I've filled in and sent the form (due 23/2/2019), which was signed for at their end on 20/2/2019. Since then, I've heard nothing from them. Should they have written to confirm they've received it by now, or don't they bother doing that any more?

Unfortunately my entitlement to housing benefit is tied up with my DLA and my local authority are currently breathing down my neck about it, but I don't want to have to ring the DWP to find out how my claim is going if I don't need to - the less I have to deal with them the less chance I have of blowing an artery. Luckily I have proof that they received the form on time, but any holdups aren't going to be very helpful, to say the least.

Thanks very much for that Gordon. It isn't surprising that whoever received it at the DWP wouldn't bother with any niceties over it. It's a bit of a relief to have that confirmed, when in any other circumstances with any other agency it would be a source of worry.

The less I hear from the DWP the better.
