A friend who is on DLA is now having to claim PIP......the council has fitted her a wetroom in her masionette as due to arthritis and obseity she cannot use a bath. In addition she has a raised toilet seat for the same reasons. She also uses a perching stool to sit on whilst cooking. Are these facts likely to attract points ?
They are providing they explain why they need to use them, having and even using an aid will not score points, needing to use an aid to complete the PIP activities will.
