Advocate help required NI was created by Roydon Leyshon
My best friend has been trying to get PIP for more than two years, we’ve even been in touch with her MP, regarding the appalling way she has been treated. The last appeal hearing was adjurned by the panel of 2 doctors and a solicitor. She was told by the solicitor that she needed to get a benefits professional to represent her. She had been referred to Citizens advice in the past, who were supposed to be providing her with an advocate, but the person left and she was left high and dry. This has happened so many times. Where is she supposed to go for help and assistance?? Can anyone help?

They can try doing an internet search for "welfare advice" with their postcode, town or county.

I don't know where about's you are in the UK. There is an Advocate group called Fightback for Justice, they are based in Bury Lancashire. It may be worth having a look on their website. They are very good....committed
Good Luck

Chill. the best place to go is this forum.
Read the fantastic catalogue of self-help documents, the search function too and structure your appeal accordingly. You need to invest some time yourself as there is no guaranteed solution or simple answer.
I sincerely believe drawing in untold nobodies to help with a claim will be futile and detrimental
