If it is with a Case Manager then there is little that you can do with the possible exception on contacting Capita to see why they did not record the appointment being cancelled. If you do find anything then contact the DWP immediately about it.

I have good news Gordon, I spoke to DWP again this morning, and managed to speak to a case manager who was lovely, and she actually listened to me. She reinstated my payments and has referred my case back to Capita, she called me back this afternoon to confirm and check I was ok as I got a little emotional on the phone this morning! So next step is assessment for me. Thank you for all your help, without your advice I probably wouldn't have called them back, so I am very grateful!
