Dla to pip failure was created by gilgog
I had been on dla since 2002 but just got letter to say I've not been successful in my pip application. I feel duped and I don't believe that a health practioner (paramedic) can understand my mental problems by reading through a pc script. I also self medicated myself to even manage to let a friend take me to assessment as if not I wouldn't have gone. I just wondered if it is worth putting myself all the anxiety and bad times leading up to and the anxious wait after again.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Sorry to hear your claim has been unsuccessful.
You have three options; obviously, you can accept the Decision, or you can make a new claim there is no waiting time or you can challenge the Decision with a Mandatory Reconsideration. Obviously, you will need to deal with the issues that meant you did not score if you do not leave it.

If you have the energy don't give up- ask for a copy of the decision reasons and assessors report and ask for a MR if there are things wrong in them.
