Hi, does anyone know if under the circumstances a person loses their PiP and previously they were getting a disability premium of ESA if those premiums continue during the mandatory reconsideration process and the appeal process, please? Will the DWP claw back money if the person remains on no PiP after MR and/or appeal.
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
They would lose the Severe Disability Premium if paid as it is dependant on their having a PIP Daily Living award.
If they are in the WRAG and receiving the Enhanced Disability Premium then they would lose this as it dependant on their having a PIP Enhanced Daily Living award.
If they do lose their PIP then they need to contact the DWP office dealing with their ESA claim to prevent an over payment.
