Pip was created by madmanx
Hi my mum is 65 years old, she had her pip medical last year when she was 64 and was awarded pip standard living and enhanced mobility for 3 years until 2021, does this mean she won't be reviewed now until after 10 years? Or does she still have to undergo another review in 2020 when she will be 66 to get the light touch award? Also is it on people that have enhanced awards for both parts that this apply to?
If it does apply for my mum will she get a letter? We bit confused any help be nice.

Hi Madmanx
It was only announced on the 9th of July 2019 that current PIP claimants at State Pension Age will no longer be subject fo face to face assessments and would get a light touch review, so it is impossible to give you a definitive answer until it starts to roll out. From what has been said you would hope that your Mum would benefit when the time comes and if she's going to she will receive a letter.
