Dvae
It sounds as if they have been able to do a Paper Based Review this should mean that they are recommending an award but you will have to wait and see, a Decision should be another 2-4 weeks.

thanks for the reply gordon. i have now recieved my wca medical report which under prognosis says i advise the client should be re referred in 12 months yet under justification of advice it says the available evidence suggests review in the medium term which i was led to believe was 18 months plus so will i be reassessed in 12 months or longer thankyou

Hi dave
Theoretically ESA is awarded indefinitely, (open ended)
However, in reality, each ESA awarded comes with a recommended period before it is reassessed.
See : How often will I be reviewed www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claim...m-faq/esa-faq#ESA135
Normally, the longest period between re-assessments is 3 years.
So, it would be normal to have to go through regular periodic re-assessments depending on your condition.
