Hi. So I am still waiting to hear when my PIP appeal should be. My doctor now thinks I may have angina and is doing tests. This would explain a lot of the things I said in my pip application but is a new illness that I hadn't put in the claim as I never knew about it at the time. I have been waiting since october for an appeal.
My question is, do I tell them about the angina if it turns out that I do have that, or do I wait until after the tribunal and then tell them, which is what some family members told me to do, as it could mean I have to start a new calim? Is this true? or will it just go into the same claim as it explains my breathlessness when climbing stairs etc...
Your appeal will be based on the information that you submitted at the time you submitted your claim and mandatory reconsideration. You could always try telling the tribunal panel as it relates to your breathlessness, but do not be surprised if they reject it.
